Eden’s Reckoning

Just tell me—
Why?

I tread through Eden’s shattered gate,
Hunting God, seeking my revenge—
For the agony she endures,
A burden I cannot bear,
But it’s not mine, it’s hers—
Why must she suffer,
What has she done to deserve this hell?
If fate weaves its twisted threads,
Then tell me, what the fuck is the purpose?

Roses bleeding with blackened thorns,
Strangle her throat, tighten and twist—
In this cursed Eden,
I march with hands balled in fury,
Teeth grinding, searching for—
The elusive god
To demand answers,
To unleash my wrath.

Tell me, damn you, tell me—
What is the fucking reason?
Why must she drown in her tears,
Why this endless torment,
When she deserves more than agony?
What sick game do you play,
With hearts left bruised and broken?

Why drag me into her chaos,
Force me to care,
While I stand helpless,
Shackled by invisible chains?
All I want is to hold her,
To shield her from this cruel world,
Yet here I stand,
Unable to make it right.

So answer me—
Tell me why…
Why does she bleed,
Why does she ache?
Why couldn’t you have aligned our fates,
Under one sky,
Where we could have healed together?

Just tell me—
Why?
