The world will finally see the colors of your soul.

I saw the shimmer of salt on your cheek,
a falling star caught mid-break,
and you whispered through sobs,
“I’m broken.”

But I don't see ruin—
I see a masterpiece in progress,
tiles of heartache and hope
waiting to be placed
by someone who knows how
to see the beauty in fragments.

You are not broken.
You are mosaic—
a living gallery of stories,
stitched in silver threads of survival,
lined with golden light
that even the shadows cannot dim.

You're not broken, you're a mosaic still in progress,
But when the time comes, and the light hits just right—
You'll shine like stained glass, and the world...
The world will finally see the colors of your soul.

      Thank you so much.

I wrote this originally to be a reminder for someone special, but once I finished writing it… I felt it could help others see themselves in a new light too. So I had to share it.

Yes, we are a mosaic, beautifully made through experiences. We’ll shine, and the world will be inspired.
    Amazing poem, rowan

Thank you, that means a lot and I agree that we are all our own mosaic, beautifully made through experiences. We just sometimes need a reminder of that fact.
